Bad experience with the staff boarding the gate. I couldn’t board with my carry on, personal item and a funny bag. I had to put my passport inside my pockets and put the funny bag inside the personal item. Then after passing the staff pull out everything again. When flying from Charlotte to Bermuda, the time of day you decide to fly out makes little to no difference towards the overall price you’ll pay on tickets.
After 45 minuites we were allowed on the plane. The first plane had mechanical issues. The 2nd plane must have had bathroom issues because we did not have any food service whatsoever. That made for a long time not to have anything considering that we had just made it to the original gate and we had no time to stop to get food or a drink. Then we didn't want to leave the gate to get food because we wouldn't know how much longer the delay would be. Had we been told that the total time would have been aprox 45 min later we would have left to get food and a beverage.
You can be ok on a short flight of two hours but no more than that. The delays, and also the refreshments on the plane were not enough. The Wi-Fi went out during the flight and there was only one plug for the devices every two seats.

Spending a prolonged period in this suite was like relaxing at home, and combined with the excellent club lounge at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House, made for a lovely stay in London – I thoroughly recommended. Included with the suite is executive club lounge access at this JW Marriott. The entrance to the Grosvenor House’s lounge is on the ground floor, reached by following some stairs adjacent to the hotel’s reception area. After entry, your eyes are immediately drawn to an attractive floor-to-ceiling media wall showing colorful videos shot in Hyde Park.

When the hotel first opened, it was also the headquarters of the International Sportsmen's Club. Its facilities included Turkish baths, a swimming pool, squash courts and a gymnasium. This isn’t to reproach the staff, who were professional and courteous in all their interactions with me, but unfortunately this shows that at hotels such as this, the price of admission doesn’t always guarantee the highest standards of service. While the room was overall nice, albeit a bit dated, I do need to make note of a problem with service at the hotel.
This was excellent, and the hotel clearly had a lot of ancillary staff to support guest needs. While this may not have been the best value for using points, the eye-watering prices for London hotels, when even a mediocre room will run £300 ($500+ CAD) per night, encouraged me to bite the bullet. The room and bathroom feels luxurious, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. I wished I could have stayed longer for another helping but had to dash off to my appointment. We were only here for a night, checked in fairly late, ordered room serice which came within 30mins. Relax and unwind with one of our truly spectacular cocktails in hand.
The cash price of the Superior Twin Room was £579 a night, or about a whopping $900 (CAD)! I instead opted to use my Bonvoy points, and due to the death of dynamic pricing managed to secure the stay for 190,000 Bonvoy points, plus a £90 ($150 CAD) co-payment option. The booking process itself was straightforward, and as I usually do, I booked the three-night stay via the Marriott mobile app.
